| | .jpg) | Spring is Springing! Spring is definitely on it's way - there are snow drops and crocus now in full bloom. Also there are some buds on the bushes and the daffs and bluebells are coming up too. Only a couple more weeks until the clocks change, already though it is noticeably lighter in the evenings which is great. Although the sun has been shining here in East Anglia the temperatures are still cold. I did venture into the garden today and do a bit of tidying up but I really needed gardening gloves on.
Aquamarine is the birthstone for March, a pretty pale blue. I have a few items on sale - different designs to suit all tastes and ages. Go to the catalogue section of my website and type Aquamarine into the search box and you will get a few items featuring this pretty coloured stone.
Jaipur Jewels UK is now well established at Thorpeness Emporium Antiques and Collectibles Centre. As those of you who visit the site will now I used to do a lot of outdoor fairs but have now broadened my horizons and moved into antiques and collectibles too. I have two cabinets at Thorpeness Emporium and a room upstairs from which I sell a whole selection from small items of furniture, pictures, mirrors, homewares, china, glass and many more things...... If you are visiting this area then pop in and see us, the Emporium is intertwined with the Beach House restaurant so you can have coffee and cake or a light lunch and browse amongst the many rooms selling all sorts of lovely items. It is a real Aladdins cave and you are sure to find something to take home with you.
I also have a cabinet at "Dress 4 Less" (Church Farm complex, Aldeburgh by the Exotic Plant Company) which has a selection of Jaipur Jewels jewellery. This is a 60/40 shop with a lovely collection of nearly new top name clothes, shoes and handbags for sale.

| About Jaipur Jewels UK - Now under the banner of Sandlings Ltd Jaipur Jewels UK has now been established since December 2004 and during that time has undergone a few changes. I started the company off with a view to offering a range of affordable but quality jewellery selling at country fairs, craft sales etc. This worked quite nicely for a couple of years but as you can imagine trying to juggle family life etc and a business is not easy. Most fairs being at the weekend and evenings was a slight problem and the logistics of arranging babysitters, helpers etc was tedious and hard-work.
At the beginning of 2009 I rented a cabinet at the Emporium in Thorpeness and this has proved to be a great move and later in the year I expanded into two cabinets! Things are now moving on again and from 1st December 2009, Jaipur Jewels will cease to trade as a single company and will become part of Sandlings Ltd.
Sandlings Ltd is a new company that I have started and occupies a room upstairs at Thorpeness Emporium in Thorpeness. I have started trading in small items of furniture, rugs, homewares, collectibles and many other things. This is really exciting and so far things are going well and I hope will also prove to be a success. The website continues to run in the same way and you are still able to buy items at the Emporium from Cabinet 2 as usual.
You can purchase items directly from the Jaipur Jewels UK website through the totally secure payment system, all items listed are in stock (unless marked otherwise) and will be sent to you within a few days. Occasionally an item may be unavailable if it has been sold elsewhere but I endeavour to keep the website up to date!
