Thorpeness Emporium I am now working in the Emporium at Thorpeness on Fridays so please pop in and see me. There is a lovely selection of vintage, reproduction and original items for sale including clothings, jewellery, homewares, furniture and a host of other items.
Jaipur Jewels is now installed permanently at Thorpeness Emporium where you will find a host of all things collectible. I have two cabinets now - Nos 2 & 23.
No 2 has a selection of Jaipur Jewels - Indian silver and gemstone jewellery - also the highly collectible charm beads, tibetan silver and glass with a silver core in a host of lovely colours to tempt you. I have the heavy snake chain bracelets and necklaces to hang them on. All the beads have a minimum 4mm core which means they are compatible with Pandora and Troll.
No 23 has an array of small ornaments from firgurines, paperweights, perfume bottles and trinket boxes. Also wirework rings, pendants and earrings which I have been making with a selection of pearls, glass beads and sea-glass (found on the local beach). There are pieces of vintage costume jewellery including some lovely brooches and necklaces.
I also have a cabinet at the Church Farm complex in Aldeburgh (by the Exotic Plant Company on the Saxmundham Road). This cabinet is at "Dress 4 Less" which is a nearly new 60/40 clothing and accessories shop. The shop used to be called Gladrags but has now been taken over by a friend of mine and has been revamped and vastly improved. There are some lovely clothes, shoes and handbags - well worth a visit. My only problem is that it is getting expensive, every time I go in there I end up buying something!
