| | .jpg) | Retail Therapy - Just the Ticket to repel the Cold Winter Nights..... Can you believe it is October already? Half-term holidays are fast approaching and the clocks of course will be changing soon too. The shops are already full of Christmas things alongside Halloween! If your thoughts are turning to Christmas and presents then a good opportunity to spread the costs and pick up some presents is Treasures of Suffolk at Orwell Park School, Ipswich.
This is a two day event with a Preview Shopping Experience Evening on the Friday night at which you will get a glass of wine, nibbles and special 10% discount off of lots of the stalls. The evening means you can peruse the stalls without the crowds and get the pick of the stall holders stock before the main doors open on the Saturday and Sunday.
Set in the superb rooms of the fabulous building you will find me in the paneled "Oak Room" which is between the main entrance and the Orangery. There are refreshments and light lunches served throughout the day and last year there was a lovely selection of stalls selling some wonderful things to entice you.
I can accept a cheque with card and cash. I can also take credit card payments but cannot process the payment at the venue I will have to take your details and run the payment through my website when I get home. This is totally secure and your details are then shredded after payment has gone through.
As always I have a lovely selection of jewellery to suit all tastes. I have a new selection of bracelets in an array of lovely colours which will make a perfect present for 12-101 year olds! There are earrings in all shapes and sizes, stunning pendants and of course a small range of chains and torques to set them off. All my items come in an individual box or in their own gift bag. All of the jewellery is marked 925 and is excellent quality silver set with individually cut and polished semi precious stones.
I look forward to seeing you between 24th and 26th October. Preview evening is ticket only, available in advance from several outlets in Ipswich or I believe from the EADT. Saturday and Sunday the doors are open from 10 am - 4pm both days.
Birthstones for October are Opal and Tourmaline. Unfortunately I haven't got these but there is a large slection of Rainbow Moonstone which is similar to Opal and would be a suitable alternative. There are also a couple of pieces with Aquamarine stones which are similar to tourmaline available.

| About Jaipur Jewels UK Jaipur Jewels UK is a small business run by myself, Helen Barker, with support from my husband Stephen and immediate family (mainly in the babysitting department when I am out at the weekend!).
I have always had a fascination for jewellery that dates back to my teenage years when I was lucky enough to travel the Far East with my parents. I have been looking for a business that I can run from home as I have a young daughter who is now at school full-time.
I have been lucky enough to team up with a manufacturer in Jaipur, Rajasthan, India and started Jaipur Jewels UK importing my first consignment from them in December 2004. The general public response was excellent and was closely followed by a bigger second order which contained a new selection of earrings and pendants. Since then several more have followed! I have also added a range of pashmina type scarves which are only available from Ufford Park or at shows and events - too many variations and colours to list on the website!
You can purchase items directly from the Jaipur Jewels UK website through the totally secure payment system, all items listed are in stock (unless marked otherwise) and will be sent to you within a few days. If you are local you can go to Ufford Park Hotel near Woodbridge where I have a display cabinet and purchase from them direct. Alternatively if you have a look at the Shows and Events section you will see that I am exhibiting at a range of craft and general events in my local area. You will be able to come and try, feel and see the beautiful quality and workmanship of the lovely items I am selling.
